PSC (Permanent Sand Colorant) is a powdered colorant for sand. It consists of a
mixture of colorants and bonding ingredients including an Ant Deterrent. PSC
permanently colors granules of sand almost instantly when shaken or mixed
with a drill. This give the applicator the ability to buy plain silicate sand locally
and mix the desired color on the jobsite, greatly reducing the cost to the end
user, while increasing their ability to achieve an overall better finished product
for the customer. PSC also reduces shipping costs due to its small package size
and weight. Weighing under 1.5 pounds per container (Larger size containers
available by request) it is an efficient alternative to 50 pound bags. PSC’s small
footprint opens up valuable shelf space allowing the dealer to offer more color
choices while using a fraction of the space needed compared to pallets of 50
pound bags of assorted color choices.
PSC, once added to the silicate sand can be wet sanded, dry sanded for paver
joint use or broadcast for additional uses such as a colored non skid additive.

Colonial Red, Union Gray, Mustard Yellow, Moss Green, Graphite Black,
Chestnut Brown and (coming soon) Sapphire Blue

Instructions For Use:

Pour as much as 50 pounds of sand into a tote. Pour desired amount of color-
ant into the sand. Mix with a drill mixer. Add more colorant as desired to achieve the desired color tone. Mix with a drill mixer until completely blended.
Usually, 15 seconds or less. If the color is too dark, add more sand to lighten
the color. Once colorant has been fully incorporated you can also add plain
sand or other colored sand to get a variegated look. This product will make as
much as 200 pounds of colored sand or more per container.
As with all powdered products use of a respirator/mask is recommended to
prevent ingestion into the airways and lungs.
